cant tell how much this doesn't actually represent my favourites. I know youre gonna say "im never doing a list again" but we all know you will and im respectfully begging you to not constrain us with all these rules.

ive never curated a list that I dislike more than this one. basically just had to throw names at a wall to fill the list full of s*** I havent heard in 10 or 20 years or barely marinated in the first place. most of these I just like, not love.

I can admit that the ruleset this time around was possibly overly strict but I also didn't want to have a super boring results

I promise any future lists will not be nearly as strict.

If I could change 1 thing, it'd be 3 albums instead of 2 but I've got too many lists now for it to be fair to others who might but wanna change it

Btw Basement Tapes initially came out in the form of The Great White Wonder in 1969 and arguably kicked off the whole bootleg album industry

based on my 10+ years of counting lists, a good portion of people only do 1 per artist for each list. For example, Koala only did one per artist and only voted Aquemini but had Stankonia in his top 10 of the 21st century. So these lists have never fully encapsulated the collective mindset especially when you take into account vote splitting among many voters promise me this is the last time we argue about these rules. I'll make sure I'm less strict going forward.
