Need em to come back strong in 2027, I feel like their last few have all just been alright
You seen em live?
I don’t, i unfortunately barely go to concerts. A lot of the best stuff we get here is at festivals and i just don’t really like festival culture and how crowded and overwhelming they get, not my thing really.
And its rare for an artist or act that i really want to see tour here and then its still a matter of if i can make the date and if i got a s*** ton of bills to pay that month
At least im seeing Ye this month and The Weeknd a month after that with my SO. But yeah thats mostly it, the more mainstream stuff that visits here on the bigger international tours
I do not listen to the Arctic Monkeys but I respect them after seeing them rip when opening for The Black Keys who f***in sucked live
You should at least give tranquility base hotel + casino a shot sometime given your adoration for Bowie. Although my spidey senses tell me you might find Alex Turner to be trying to hard to enjoy it. Its been one of my fav night albums tho
Maybe check out one song and see if you can potentially stuff it in ur backlog for the near future
I really like these joints for example, both for different reasons but they give you a good idea of what the mood is

The creator of what?
Mara Jade, Luke's wife in the novels and s***. Never read those but apparently Lucas hated the character lmao

I think they leveled up live act in the 2020s bringing in some more jamming and really able to incorporate all their styles seamlessly as part of one big whole. Instead of just like gimmicky genre hopping which is what some people assume
Seen em 4 times now and will keep seeing every time they come near

Oh lol never heard of her
@Elric do you fw Porcupine Tree at all, i made a thread yesterday but there was only 1 guy and he didnt even contribute just talked about 1 Steve Wilson solo record
They’ve got such a cool discog, its so weird how they’re so critically acclaimed but theres basically 0 internet discourse about them if youre not specifically in insufferable prog corners of the interwebs
I remember PT, they actually were p popular at one point and have some cool stuff. Haven’t listened to them in forever tho
I love them but still never got into this one
Its my fav by a landslide actually, and i say that as somebody who’s spend a great amount of his teenage years with their debut
But TBHC just hits a very specific spot in my brain that just feels good. And i like how out there Turner’s songwriting got too

Yeah, Fear of a Blank Planet & In Absentia are certified classics at this point and i do believe they have a big and dedicated cult fanbase but i rarely hear people talking about them except for very specific circles, which kind of makes them underrated despite all the critical praise

I used to like Deadwing and of course the Wilson produced Opeth albums were game changers
I do not listen to the Arctic Monkeys but I respect them after seeing them rip when opening for The Black Keys who f***in sucked live
that the worst star wars movie has rise in the title
The worst Batman as well
I think it's just as good as TDK tbh
Absolutely f***in not. It has some cool scenes and Bane is awesome but it's a mess. TDK is as airtight as blockbusters get.

Hathaway's Catwoman

TDK stands tall way above the other two Nolan entries and i say that as someone who doesn’t mind but also doesn’t passionately care for either Nolan or Batman
