Speaking in Tongues. There’s something special about the consistent pop record a band makes after years of experimentation. It’s like all they’ve learned gets channeled into more focused songwriting. Fear of Music is cool, but I’ve always felt that Eno’s influence drowns out a lot of the quirks I love about Byrne. Same feeling I have towards the Roxy Music sophomore record in relation to Bryan Ferry.

Interesting, while i do agree on Speaking on Tongues being a fun addition in their discography i don't necessarily agree about Eno's influence. I feel he lays the perfect basis for Byrne to go off on the deep end (affectionately)
