    @Galaxy does a debut album need to be a 12" LP

    some jazz guys have first 'albums' that were 10" and like 20-25 minutes long so not sure if that would be more debut album or like an EP under the rules

    what counts as Thelonious Monk's debut album?

    I'll count the other ones as long as it's cool if I change any mistakes on the list to their debut if you've mistakenly listed the wrong one. (fats domino, Bo diddley)

    this band from Ontario only had the one album from '68 but its great

    I was looking at some of my jazz favs and tbh I don't think I heard any of their proper debuts, just the highlights

    I think his first joint is the Thelonious Monk Trio album

    Honestly albums like David Bowie s/t or Pablo Honey I didn't think about adding to the cheat sheet cause I assumed nobody would vote for them and I got proven wrong on the first list

    o yeah Modest Mouse is great and prob my fav MM album. goddamn so many great debuts

    Had this joint on yesterday and yea one hellova debut. Sounds sprawling like the open road and musically the band playing tight. Probably my least fav of their first 4 but still
