its crazy that you can trace a lot of the more twisted/dissonant type of riffing that started later on (and really blossomed in 21st century) right back to Morbid Angel first album

Crust punk and sludge metal are making a lowkey resurgence again ever since it kinda slowed down in the late 2000's

Congrats riff squad you're one member closer to a riff list but you also lost Lordie who would've made one as well so you actually made no progress on the riff list

Ok on my second listen and some of the riffing gives early Krallice vibes the pacing of the solos is pretty crazy too.

Ok maybe not krallice at all but there was one moment that kinda gave that vibe. This album isn't nearly as dark as Krallice s/t
