    yea never understood the love it got in filmsection. Nashville did a much better job incorporating the musical performances into the story. Here it's just dreadful. Especially if you don't like the music that much. I guess that if one likes the music the film can be a lot of fun.

    Yeah mixing one part Wings Of Desire and one part Noir to a lesser Nashville setting didn't gel for me at all. I usually like that type of music but Woody and John C had the only songs that were decent. Also Lindsay at the end. Maybe if it was another hour or so I would've grown to care about the characters but it felt like it was over before it even hit its stride.

    difficult. none of them have that Herzog like atmosphere of the ending while the interior scenes might be closer to Zama. I'd say Headless Woman then The Swamp and then The Holy Girl.
