Lot of love for Inherent Vice, a film I f***ing hated.
I've read the book since and loved it so maybe I should rewatch
I feel like I'd have got very little out of the film if I wasn't already familiar with the book. I think it's more of a good fan work than a good adaptation.
Yeah thought The Irishman was good. I might try Thin Red Line

BUt It's a 17 hour film brö
I've never been able to get into Self Defense Family like I have D*** Church but have you heard some of the loose singles they've dropped this year? Man some of them are hard as nails, especially this 10 minute monster
!https://youtu.be/X5lBEa54FpII like Self Defense Family but not nearly as much as D*** Church. This is rad.
New Future album really nothing new or special. His last creative endeavor was HNDRXX, and even that was bloated af. Move along
New Charli XCX flames though

It's generic as hell
Somber intro
After 20 seconds, beat drops with same generic bass thump and hi hats
Rinse, repeat

I do like the intro but after that everything else starts to blend in, such a shame.

some s*** takes more than one listen for the tracks to differentiate themselves, especially projects with such cohesive sounds as High Off Life.
you can tell he was going for a specific vibe with this one. i’m thinking of it as a more accessible The WIZRD rn. that dark trapnb vibe without the experimental aspects of the previous album.
not every album can be defined by its highlights, some are just super consistent (the type of album Future is great at making)

We gonna act like this is any different to The WIZRD?
Which I thought was generic too but had a few more highlights. From someone who was pushing the genre forward to now essentially sticking with the same formula for years.
Save Me was great, I'm just personally bored of this sound he's doing right now.
