katie gately - loom
oranssi pazuzu - mestarin kynsi
charli xcx - how i'm feeling now
fiona apple - fetch the bolt cutters

Man the Midwife album is so beautiful but it just loses me every time with that long track with the spoken word stuff at the start.
I get why it's there but i don't think it adds anything and I just I wanna chuck an album like that on and melt into it, and that bit throws me off every time

Same, I still prefer her previous works. "Forever", the song still the peak and Song For an Unborn Sun her best album
was this one any good ? might be in if it doesn't feel clunky.
Never played it. But it's a complete remake so there shouldn't be any clunkiness.
Real
Literally can’t imagine how it relates to Cave. Thought Elvis in Vegas was seen as farcical, he was bloated and didn’t perform well.
Unless he was talking about this

Have you ever listened to music from behind ?
i have not
Dopethrone (the album)
Like being stuck in a black hole of the thickest weed smoke and riffage

!https://youtu.be/mLbOBoa8vD8You're f***in trippin, Vegas period was stunning. He was bloated and a douche but still performed amazingly well.
Even your man Bono; "I think the Vegas phase is underrated. I find it the most emotional. By that point Elvis was clearly not in control of his own life, and there is this incredible pathos. The big opera voice of the later years - that's the one that really hurts."
Cave probably loves how dramatic the music and performances were
I did but not the 6 hour version.
agreed a cross between Dylan and Beefheart seems accurate.
Do you know Sign On The Cross from Basement Tapes?
