do you guys prefer the album version or 12 inch version of Bizarre Love Triangle?
12
12
interesting. maybe just cuz im so used to it, but I feel like the chorus hits so much harder in the album version with the drum pattern + other synth + the vocoder(?) part hiding behind the vocal. sounds weird to me how airy it is in the 12 inch
need to give the 12 inch way more listens tho ive heard it only a few times so far

I haven't heard the album version in a while but I spun them both quite a bit before I decided which one was going to be canon for me
I always prefer 12 inches
this is the only one i dont prefer the long version i think
Love how Bob casually uses album and film and song titles as lyrics now
noticed a dozen already at least
obvi not but i mean like an all day binge
i did Bringin It, Highway 61, Blonde, TOOM, L&T and now doin my faves from his last few before i check out the new one :ohno:
I listened to Infidels for the first time a few weeks back and thought it was pretty cool.

Didn't realize 15 yo Randy California was in Hendrix's band before he went to England
Jimi wanted to take him but he was too young. Imagine The Experience with Randy on bass or Spirit with no Randy
Been listening to too much Waits, can't help but imagine him over this music
A new Waits album would be pretty interesting
I'm always nervous about late career stuff
Bob always has a few bangers at minimum
I'm always nervous about late career stuff
after Bowie and Cohen and then Nick Cave’s latest s***, i def got faith in Bob
