Fact or cap?
Stevie wouldn't have had much to do with it, but if Peter didn't have a mental breakdown and Danny stuck around then they potentially could have had a stronger 70s than the stones.
2000s is mad hard especially cuz I’m like tryna listen to the music again and s*** is hard to figure out placements tbh
I think I have a top 5 kinda solidified tho
installed Oblivion again

would be a weird combo
bruv you ever listen to this Scott Walker album?
this song especially is a masterpiece imo and always gives me Stockhausen vibes.
!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r5hvHEBLNpIyes, I have. That one and Tilt are awesome albums even though I don't listen to them that often or Scott in general. :/
I might listen to it again because of the lists though.
@Aruji ok I'm all in on A Promise. Crazy how long it took me to "get" it. Brooklyn Dodgers the only one I'm still not feeling
I knew you were getting into it at some point.
Also, I'd agree about Brooklyn Dodgers being the weakest aside from Fast Car evem I still like it a fair bit.
Also, about "getting" something. I think that many people perceive some sort of attack on one's cognitive abilities aka you are dumb but I do think that there is definitely something to "getting" something. It's more a matter of understanding that musical language better and context listening helps a lot but also if someone else might explain what they think is actually good about and how they interprete it thematically and emotionally. Then again, this makes up another line of perceived or intended discrimination but let's say "knowledge" ain't intelligence. Whatever the latter actually is.
Kanye is the best when it comes to making bars that you think are wack then they turn out to be classic lines.

something about the vocal melody of Brooklyn Dodgers is so off-putting. Most of the album is non-melodic in nature but that one just throws me off so hard...
Like, Ian Curtis Wishlist is the opposite of melodic but it works.

Real ones know they're classic from the jump
For any of you that don’t hate Weezer, this is pretty good. The track Blockbuster Video slaps.

That being said you can still totally grasp these elements, have the “knowledge” so to speak and come away from something still feeling numb, but I get what you mean.
Yo you ever jam this band Hum ? They dropped their latest joint after 20 years
