no over the top jokery songs on freak out for me
first lp is pretty much all great and i like the experimental ones of the 2nd lp that might annoy somea lot of the times he didnt sing anyway and let someone else

or just the entirety of Absolutely Free and What's the ugliest part of your body?
zappa was a right-leaning libertarian but his satire there is so poignant. Later on he would write some mindless stuff and fart jokes but that album is a masterpiece of satire.
