    bruce stopped playing solos after the Darkness tour apparently (Silvio took over) and thats why i can never quite put River and the later stuff over it

    man was a beast on on s*** like Adam Raised A Cain

    van morrison was clearly on the cusp of goatness there

    stones, kinks, animals all fire

    mcartney was picking much lamer songs than john but holy s*** his voice is powerful unreal tbh what a unique dude even if im lennon 4 life

    Yeah out of the two I definitely prefer John (George overall) but there's no denying that about Paul's voice. Plus their harmonies on Baby's in Black is an absolute highlight. I'd say The Animals had the best performance overall though, was a great lineup

    They ought to put out more full box sets of directors filmographies. There’s so many considered lesser entries in plenty of filmmakers work that I wouldn’t normally see if I had to seek them out individually. But if together tho physically sorted chronologically I’d take the dive

    Kurosawa box was my introduction to criterion weird that they did that so long but basically no other ones till Bergman
