Arizona Dream one of the unique cases in which a non-US director comes to the US and makes a film that is even weirder than the ones he did before. Excellent film btw. Especially on rewatch.

Did I tell you about how I always thought I was 100% Anglo-Saxon Irish Scottish English until I was watching M last time and I realized how similar inspector Lohmann's name was to my mother's maiden name, Brohman, and I was like "wait a minute am I German" and the rest of my family was like "yes youre 1/4 German"
that side of the family has been in Canada for like 6 generations though I knew that there are plenty of people with German descent in Northern America. Always guessed that some of you might have German roots somewhere but this comes as a surprise.
