Been living on my own in a 4 bedroom house for months and I finally have people moving in again soon. Not happy about not being able to walk around naked any more

I been living in my current place 12 months and both upstairs tenants had annoying dogs. New ones are always f***ing stomping and yelling and the kid starts crying, sounds like a f***ing domestic disaster.
Nobody above us in the new place + no pets in the building allowed
need a change anyways, living in a basement gets real dreadful after a while
"If 2pac didn't die, lil Wayne would be working at McDonald's!!"

Incredibly real
Re-watch was potent
I'm thinking he's gonna do something pretty interesting with this viking epic he's working on. Couldn't be worse than Refns
Ok the sound design on this joint is excellent and the overall feel of the film is claustrophobic. Like you know it smells really bad in that room. Technically everything Eggs does is masterful but at the same time homage on homage. What it comes down to is an enjoyment factor and with that it shall remain a 3.5/5 in my book, still p good. You should definitely peep A Field in England, another period piece, less nuanced and more sporadic. And filled with dark humor.

Lighthouse also reminded me of this Simpsons episode.

At least it's a less transparent homage than say Sorcerer
which you love and I think sucks compared to get original. Egg's influences are there but his films still feels like something different to me. .
That Simpsons episode is an homage to Chaplin's Gold Rush btw
dust

Well Sorcerer IS a remake of Wages of Fear so the idea of taking a truck full of nitroglycerin over a rough terrain is the plot. But it excels in so many areas, its also is a true cult classic at this point. I had Wages of Fear and actually sold it to Raise because I have Sorcerer

my chick friend was telling me about this drag/trans show she watches with Sandra Bernhard and I got a flashback from my childhood of that Bruce Willis bomb Hudson Hawk
f***ing ridiculous early 90s film directed by the Heathers and Airheads guy.. you should check it out. Sandra and Richard Grant are absolutely priceless in it but Bruce is the operating in the most rarified air of corn imaginable
I got the f***in job guys
