I’m all over the place. I’m just been watching some older Hitchcock lately.
f*** man idk if i’ll ever be as emotionally attached to an album as i am to Blood on the Tracks. so many nights spent listening to that album, getting way too high in the closet of my room at my grandpa’s house

nice. recently found out he worked in germany for a bit back when that was the epicenter in the late 20's early 30's.
only album in which every single track has the ability to make me wanna just cry
btw, why did Bob always sing with an accent? lmao it was a trip hearing how he really talked in Dont Look Back

His accent changed depending on which persona he was putting forth. Method actor in a way.

you havent heard his older albums? he always used his real voice more or less on those. blood on the tracks was some weird s*** he was trying out.
is there a better closing 2 tracks on an album than All Along the Watchtower -> Voodoo Child (Slight Return)?
so amazing to get through the whole double album and thats how it ends

sound like his usual voice to me, just bathed in reverb
Nashville Skyline is the weird one

yeah i was actually thinking of Nashville Skyline / Lay Lady Lay. Blood on the Tracks he just sounds older and raspier. a carton a day for 10 years will do that.

They are better written songs but they are completely flaccid in comparison.
U2 - Acrobat/ Love is blindness
The Smiths - There is a Light.../Some Girls...
Rolling Stones - Shine a light/Soul Survivor
Slight Return is the peak of masculinity in music.
man i’m tired of befly talking s*** about me in random threads without even tagging me, like what a f***in p****
like the third time it’s happened on this site
I didnt know he was still about
