Wrong. He could have easily pushed Back to Back on radio as a single (radio programmers for Urban/Rhythmic radio formats were actually surprised he didn't because they all felt Back to Back was catchy enough to become a legit chart hit). They even started playing the song on radio despite him servicing Hotline Bling as a single instead. He could have easily shot a music video to ride the wave of that song as well. He chose not to because he's always understood that beefs aren't moments you're supposed to dwell on for too long.
Even when he lost to Push. He addressed everything on Scorpion and then got right back to what mattered — making music that's non-beef related lol.
My point is that Drake has ALWAYS moved this way, win or lose. Once the battle is done, he moves on to dropping career music. Y'all keep insisting he's trying to move on from this moment because he lost but he'd have done the same thing if he won because that's exactly what he did with the Meek situation lmao.
I get Kendrick wanting to take his victory lap and that's all valid. Just don't try to push the lie that if it was Drake, he'd be doing the exact same thing because history proves otherwise.
If I am not mistaken, that song came out on a Wednesday right before ovo fest and 2 days before hot line being. Which means that it blew up because yall liked the record and he was winning the beef. Again, he dropped a much better song days later
Pusha t yeah he moved on, quickly, he ain't want s*** to do with that beef and the same trend happened again with kendrick.
I am not saying he doesn't move on quickly from the beef, I am saying yall are not choosing not to listen to this track because he gave you something better recently it's because he lost
No way this guy isnt a freak/creep
(I know nothing about him besides this picture)
Not as weird as making a thread about a preschooler
Wait huh??? I’m out :vlosereave:
If Drake shooters doin' TikToks, nigga
Realest shooter in your gang, that's P's brother
Y'all ain't getting s*** shot, nigga
I can't listen to the stick talk in falsetto
Save it for a hip-hop nigga
beautiful

AND he also doesn’t move on quickly from beef since he literally did Back to Back on the summer sixteen tour a year after the beef in a Free Meek Mill shirt a month after buddy had just gone to jail IN HIS HOMETOWN.
I really hate how disingenuous that fan base has become and feel bad for the actual genuine fans of Drake
Cant lie and act like this song isnt f***ing great
If kendrick didnt drop NLU, drake might have took it tbh
Drake pretending hes not a rapper alá gucci mane is funny as f*** tho
dude is THE rapper
It's because I listen to Drake that I can say that's extremely sad. Bro has so many better songs than Marvin's Room and Family Matters you f***in idiot
Marvin’s room is the song that defined him and this s*** is a literal symphony
It's too early to start that narrative. Wait until no one cares about kendrick again.
The last beat in my opinion is the best beat from all the songs in the beef.
Yeah it’s definitely top 3
I think for me it’s MTG, FM 3rd beat and NLU
