Sometimes I dont want to draw in complete silence or listen to music. Theyre also relaxing to turn on while I fall asleep, because they dont require engagement like a show but are still interesting to listen to. Plus a lot of them have some really important and insightful information.

Podcasts for work and music for pleasure is a pretty healthy formula

perfect form of background entertainment, I can fully focus on it or just listen passively and still get 90% of the enjoyment out of it. There's also no pressure the same way there is with shows/movies where you feel like you're gonna miss something
