I think they're trying to nurture like a new generation or the younger talent on the label but nobody wants to listen to Reason, no pun intended.

Like he not that raw to be stalling good artists for. With the exception of Kendrick who can do what he wants whenever.

To top it off, I don't even know what happened to Ab-Soul after his debut flopped and Q hasn't made inspired music in a while. Don't even know what happened to Jay Rock he kinda lost his steam too cause his album didn't do too hot.

And Isaiah Rashad and SZA are getting blocked despite both of them having insane potential.

idk how their contracts for the labels are laid out but i imagine that if they're signed to a major label like that it may just be for distribution/management or whatever

i just know whatever SZA has in the vault, it is most likely gonna be her best work. Hit Different and Good Days are some of the best tracks i've heard in a while and I just need a whole album full of art pop/r&b bangers like those
