I'm bored and just shooting the s*** while I work this overnight.
What's that one fanbase you just hate having to interact with online or IRL or be around because of how obnoxious they can be?
Now I'm sure y'all see me talking s*** about Drake stans on here often, but honestly I think a fair amount of them are genuinely hilarious, whether they mean to be or not.
But if I had to say I fanbase I just really don't like interacting with, it's actually J Cole fans. The Cult of Dreamville I call it. These motherfuckers oftentimes just be straight up delusional with the s*** they say when it comes to Cole. I also think they put him up on this weird pedestal as one of the best rappers of all time despite his catalog not even coming close to backing up that claim. I don't even dislike the nigga, I just think his fans are corny as hell.
I'm sure every fanbase can get like this with their favorite artists. But I think what I dislike the most about them is just how f***in limited this listening palette tends to be. Like these people will hardly listen to any other artists if they aren't J Cole or someone in or deeply affiliated with Dreamville. And they act like anyone who isn't is either not good or not worth listening to.
In my experience, they get just as annoying as Eminem stans.
Most people in here are chill. Some borderline need to take a step back and maybe one or two that are fully removed from the real world. Once you step on Twitter and get into stan twitter it’s a different world though. Taylor, Nicki, Bey, K-Pop like all of them are f***ing lunatics
Taylor Swift fans
You’re having a good conversation with them and then it shifts into talking about pop culture and bam it’s like they’re in a cult
And as if on cue...here comes a J Cole fan proving my point.
Yeah I think you might be the annoying one fam. Where did I put Cole on a pedestal? I don’t even think he’s top 50.
Just admit all of those reasons are bs and you just wanna hate
All fanbases are annoying to interact with. Being a diehard fan of another person is not mentally sound behavior

Nigga you literally could just respond to the OP with the fanbase you find annoying. It's a very simple question. And here you come with this lame s***. You don't see how that s*** is obnoxious?
As a huge Drake fan it’s getting harder and harder to interact with the angels
Today someone posted in the Drake thread how they love Drake but the gambling promotion rubs them the wrong way and he was immediately attacked for that opinion
Did he defend himself? Absolutely not, he folded immediately because that seems to be the only way to get the angels to accept you these days
Still Eminem fans tbh which sucks because I'm still a mild Eminem fan.
But the victim complex some of them have is insane. You would think Eminem was being persecuted by the rap industry the way some of his stans talk online when there's zero evidence behind it. Dude is still selling records like hot cakes past the age of 50 and most of the rappers he beefs with are washed and using him for attention(Benzino comes to mind).
Then, you have the fact that some of them love to pull the "reverse racism" card and claim that damn near any criticism of Eminem is because "you can't stand a White boy dominating a Black genre" yet they'll have no issues with the exact same criticisms being geared towards anyone else.
However, that's really just a vocal sect of Eminem fans though. Others are much chiller and more reasonable but they're not as outspoken.
Ironically Weeknd fans lol
They’re either picking a fight with you when you’re not kissing the ground he walks on, or cherry-picking and complaining about everything if it’s not according to the standards they’ve set in their heads
Lucki stans give me PTSD
Damn I actually had no idea they were bad. I normally found them cool to interact with because to me they're similar to Father and Robb Banks fans. Just people really loyal to an artist who has been around for years but never really got the love or recognition their music deserves on a higher level.
majority of white hip hop heads tend to be so
let it be the ones obsessed with street culture or the ones that are into like experimental s*** and all that

Damn this is surprising feel like most the people on the site are super chill
I’ve met people who’s favorite rappers are almost all white. It’s weird and you can usually guess allot of the other non rap they like
Damn this is surprising feel like most the people on the site are super chill
They are they just get really f***in weird when album time comes

Nah they go cray when you critique his catalogue

Greatest tweet of all time honestly

Agreed and you're not lying that Eminem fans can be awful and crazy. One thing that's become a bit annoying too though is people with the Eminem revision history or denying that he is at least a top 15 rapper of all time (just based on skill). I get that musical taste is subjective and he has undeniably put out lots of trash before but his ranking is definitely firmly planted at this point.

@fader is fighting people in the chart thread who dare to call Dancing in the Flames a flop.
They are they just get really f***in weird when album time comes
Damn well you know you always cool bro and a lot of users that frequent the Weekend thread have been nothing but cool to me hopefully people chill on that though

I agree. His haters can be just as bad.
