BUT when you look at the level he disrespected Lil Baby and completely wrote him off, and then came around at the exact convenient moment where he wouldve looked out of touch to deny the undeniable, it’s hard for me to not question his honesty there. I think he checked the temperature and fell in line, none of us are above being influenced by outside opinions but his flip on Baby (and previously his flip on Post) are really difficult to not raise an eyebrow at. Outright disrespecting artists during their come up to the point where you don’t even give it a serious review and once they’re the biggest thing jumping on the bandwagon, it’s a pattern

Yes but ideally he would give them a real score and actually try to recognize the things they do well. I think by his standards, he would mostly put them in the 2-4 range if he was trying to make a serious review

I believe he has said before than a 0/10 album is worse than a Not Good album in his mind. But clearly in the videos he doesnt present them that way

i USED to really like him. his reviews from 2010 to 2015 were my bread and butter back in the day. continued watching him into 2016, 2017 and it’s not like he started sucking or anything. BUT right around the time he started doing interviews with artists and becoming more well known it is incredibly obvious he has lost a lot of integrity. he’s become buddy-buddy with a lot of artists and then suddenly doesn’t give any of their new music low scores, or at least not as low as he would have before. also he uses CLICKBAIT TITLES on his videos now and it’s so cringe. he used to only be all about music back in the day, now he does all kinds of gossip videos and pandering and it’s super annoying. i thought he was cool because he just did album reviews. just only music talk strictly and he was very eloquent and good at it. but the way he’s moved his brand is really not the same anymore
