The White guilt score
yeah youre right, probably a 9.5. Lord Willin and Hell Hath no Fury are 10s
Till the casket drops is like a 7
I have it at like an 8-9 if I had to do the stupid number thing. I enjoy every song but really the only complaint is a couple of Pharrell’s vocals like most have said. I don’t think they’re enough to lose sleep over tho.
More than anything I’m happy Clipse are getting their flowers and the album is worthy of praise.
A rollout like this only works if the music is strong, and yes the rollout can definitely buy people in to sing the album’s praises when it’s backed up by great music.
I would like to see more artists do this approach. Work on an album for 2 years and be proud of it. It elevates the prestige of the art form.
You wasnt watching malice Vladtv interviews in the 2010s for every crumb of info and scounding the internet for the og version of HHNF boy shut tf up!!
He gagged you huh
Hard Piano is a miss

I don’t think people have sat long enough with this album. I get people are excited but imo for now it’s still missing something, that extra edge. I think So Be It is the best song on the album and if some songs were swapped out for songs that would be more on that level it could’ve been on par with their earlier albums.
Nine vicious not thet good breh people acting like he’s a godsend gotta be paid off
MNIMN has multiple tracks that aged like milk, I relistened to it recently and it’s quite a compromised effort with amazing highs like King Push, NOTB, Hold On, Nosetalgia and Pain.
You wanna point out Pharrell’s singing brings it down? Ok fair I don’t think it’s a 10 either. Let’s talk about how every Pharrell beat on IAD uses the same drums and the beats on there don’t come close to touching the multiples highs on the new one. A mediocre hook when the rest is great is something I can look past. The LITERAL foundation of the song being lame with the same drums all over Ps beats on IAD is something I can’t. That’s throughout the whole Thing.
Atleast you agreed with me on TTCD.
i respect your opinion and i see your points i just feel like the album is getting some unjustified glazing atm

A 10 is probably a little high but I wouldnt have it any lower then an 8.
Maybe it’ll grow on you though
