I beat the s*** out of mine wearing them everywhere for three straight years and still had no issues with them falling apart. Before I sold them I brought them to the cobbler to get them polished and even he was impressed with how amazing the quality was. Got them back looking nearly brand new and was able to sell them for more than I paid.
So I say it’s a safe investment.

I honestly think the Solovair lows look worse than Mono 1461s. Might just be preference though.
