How did that relationship with Prada start?

My mom used to put my brother and me in Prada in middle and elementary school. Kids would laugh, like, "Are you wearing Prada?" We didn't even know what the f*** we were wearing—kids wanted Jordans and North Face when we were going to school and my mom wouldn't buy it. My mom liked us to have nice things. My mom used to always say, “My boys are so handsome, they're going to be in GQ magazine.” And we used to get so embarrassed, like “What?! Ma, don't say that.” I used to be mad embarrassed when she used to say s*** like that around my friends. Back then, I didn't know what the f*** GQ magazine was but my mom did. But who would have ever thought years down the line her son would actually be in GQ magazine? So shout out to mama on that one.
