How do you guys think your buying habits in regards to clothes have changed in the past year? For me I work a 9-5 in a professional environment so while it’s not anywhere near suit and tie on the daily I can’t wear baggy jeans and a supreme tee. So because of this a lot of my clothes were bought through that lens. Like what’s the point of spending $600 on a jacket that can I only wear one day a week, if that. So cause of this most of my purchases were really nice knitwear and more formal looking things.
Since I’ve been working from home I’ve thrown that out the window and really been buying whatever I think looks cool which has been a super nice change of pace. How about you guys?

After buying a bunch of clothes and shoes last year and not wearing any of them (that much) cause corona I’ve decided to chill out on purchases this year cause I’m literally in sweats/home clothes 98% of the time.
even when I do leave the house since dining/nightlife is non existent right now it’s always just going to my friends crib and I’m not gonna get dressed up to smoke weed and sit on my friends couch for a couple hours lol

I was sort of in a similar situation at my old job but it was a bit more causal but I had the same thought about buying certain things I’d only get to wear at most 3 times out the week. I quit that job last year and my new goal in life is wear whatever tf I really wanna wear everyday. I slowed down on consuming so much s*** and I’m getting rid of a lot of s*** cause its just exhausting at this point in my life. I now have 3 criteria for anything I buy: will I wear it for atlest the next 3 years, do I really want it, and am I excited to wear it.

Yeah I feel this. At this point if I love an item I buy it regardless of whether I’m gonna wear it once a month or daily you know.
