Do you know any other brands that do similar type of stuff? When it comes to music inspired stuff I like some of the s*** butter goods put out, but aside from that that’s not that many art inspired brands out there, and definitely there’s not a single one which takes research so seriously. I always wonder what bbb’s creative process is like, wish I could join them if I lived in the us.

You should email Chance about how they research, I've definitely asked a question before about the process and they were happy to answer. None off the top of my head but if I'm forgetting one or seeing something I'll for sure hit you up. Man, I didn't see them post about a restock on IG how'd you find out without having one if they did only see restocks before a new group goes up

There was no post I believe, I’ve emailed them a couple weeks back and Chance mentioned the restock. It was mainly stuff from the last drop plus a couple of other things, like the Baudrillard gloves. I wasn’t aware they do restocks like that, usually they drop some older stuff along with the new drops, might be because of the corona virus situation. I’ve seen the calendar on grailed or depop lately priced reasonably so might want to check it out if the team at bbb can’t help you with that! Chance mentioned that new drop is coming shortly too so here’s to hoping we’ll get to eat soon

Sorry but the calendar must have sold, not sure where I’ve seen it. Also worth checking out eBay, but grailed is defo the best when it comes to bbb, the only problem is that you’ve got to be quick because most of the reasonably priced interesting pieces are gone within hours

Thanks for reminding me of him - BBB actually teaches me so much, had never heard of dude before the gloves so I meant to check out some of his work. Gonna use that as motivation to get through all the reading I have stacked up before that though (including three works by Camus )

The fact they mix the aesthetics with an educational mission is sooo great. I've studied philosophy and art history and still find gems in their collection that make me appreciate certain intellectuals/artists. Low key hope they don't blow up too much and stay away from all the bullshit associated with being popular, s***ty collabs, hype beasts buying all the stuff etc

Yeah, the educational component really separates them out, the archives are incredible. Ye wore em around 2014 (I think) and it's six years later and they're still pretty lowkey so I think that won't be happening.
