Damn near finished with this doc about Marc Jacobs 07-08 season at LV, and it just made me think, Kanye took this fashion s*** way too seriously, for better or for worse. Yeezys were gonna pop regardless, cause of Ye history with Nike and such, the Yeezy name in footwear had brand recording before the Adidas deal.
But his actual clothes were really unimaginative, when you look back at it. All that gear he produced is just stuck in a particular time & place, I just don't have that much interest to go back and look back on that era like I'm doing Marc Jacobs LV right now.
Jacobs produced some Ill, timeless s*** at LV, for men and women. In this documentary, he makes being a lead designer look like real work, which I think gets lost sometimes when people are on the outside, looking in at all this glamorous stuff.
these yours?

this was great
People arguing on twitter whether those were skinny jeans lol
They're so fire
Wish I bought more than two pairs smh
bought the new model earlier this year and I wish I bought them earlier, by far the comfiest shoes I own
reckon I could've avoided so many issues if I just had decent shoes
this outfit and the outfit he walked out in in the fashion show will always stick in my mind
Skinny fits still looks cool when the silhouette is right. All the brands, coming outta nowhere making gimmicky baggy cuts, while high end jean brands like Acne were making classy/classic baggy cuts like the 1996 in 2020. Baggy can keep getting, I don't hate it, I just copped a pair of baggy Abercrombie Carpenter jeans last week.
I just think skinny has more attitude at the end of the day, and the baggy trend is gonna help skinny get it's attitude back.
