I don’t get why ppl hate on these. They do exactly what you expect them to do every time with varying levels of success and ppl just say it’s too ridiculous every time. At this point I want the films to be horribly ridiculous

I think it’s cus of the original films tbh. Because I asked myself this same question. And I think it’s because the original 3 set up a more realistic tone and to now see it jump the shark so much with each film it becomes crazy

And I think because the film wants you to believe these are real humans who can die and are vulnerable, yet they all have superhuman powers and all come back from the dead 1 by 1

They have indeed brought back 1 too many characters. John cena also certainly isn’t dead

It’s gotten so bad that everytime I see a mysterious car pull up, I have a slight thought of “nah, that can’t be my nigga Paul” lol

hated jason mamoa’s character in this honestly. like i get the direct inspiration from the joker but i felt like it was too comedic and it never seemed like he was serious about avenging his father’s death. more so, he was doing everything just for s***s and giggles.

maybe i’m just thinking about it in relation to all of the other villains in the past movies. like all of them had this sinister demeanor throughout the whole film, even if it did end with them joining the team.
