KTT hating Kendrick now is so f***ing weird to me stg OG KTT deep throated anything Kendrick put out. GKMC, TPAB, DAMN. hell even Black Panther. Yet years later an album better than almost all of those is getting picked apart and s*** on
Drake stans won tbh KTT now hates on "mysterious" and artsy music and only wants trap bangers about b****es, money and d****. Total flip from how it used to be. Sad!

That’s not just here either. Meme culture ruined the arts starting in 2018. Like someone else said, I think Ye going MAGA/Feuding with Drake REALLY did damage to the way people consume music.
I like threads like this. People discussing sounds and sections of music. Great 👍
That part really doesn’t bother me, in fact, I enjoy that it takes a break from the main beat and comes back to it.
This post is hilarious.
1. op still big ups kendrick, he says he does not like 30 seconds of the song and is called a hater.
2. kendrick is using drakes delivery from champagne poetry at the part op doesnt like
That second point is cap
That second point is cap
Nah he does.
The “this the part” delivery / flow is lifted directly from the end of Champagne Poetry
Man said that a 3:42 song was ruined because of... 23 seconds
That’s a literal 10% of the song though lmao
Is so fire apart from these small parts.
1:09-1:20 and
1:59-2:11
Ruins the song for me, idk why just sounds off.
!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=toEW7_-pvOYliterally the best parts of the song wtf
Nah he does.

Thank you. To me it was so obvious lol. No coincidence he did it on the song with a drake mention. He used a drake delivery did it on uu too so there’s precedent.
I was tryin to see if he took a delivery from Kanye for 2 lines as well. Couldn’t find anything that matched
This is hip hop 101 Nas took a line from Hov’s 4:44 on his Magic album.

'Cause everything he didn't want was everything I was

I think the part where he says “it’s crucial they can’t stop us if they see the mistakes” line would fit what you talking about in regards to Kanye. Specifically graduation and below.

Big stepper bow got it right. Those 2 lines reference “everything I am” off graduation

I don’t think so, streaming and the way we consume media in general has led to this point. Everyone just wants the next big thing and talking point instead of just appreciating what’s currently in front of us

I say this because Ye was the blueprint for popular music before MAGA. Everyone wanted to top MBDTF and fans appreciated well thoughtout concepts and themes. After most Ye fans fell out with him post MAGA, they shifted to Drake’s way of art. Drake became the general public’s GOAT of music.

the whole thing changed like a light switch
Song is perfect
