Reservoir Dogs, A Week Ago, and Coming of Age 2 very heavy deep cuts. All the party songs still go off. I really only don't like 1 song on it
There’s definitely tracks I like on Vol. 2 but idk, guess I like the stuff he got into with The Neptunes, Just Blaze a little more.
The production on Vol 2 aged horribly as a whole for me
I wouldn’t even call BP2 a good album since it’s a double and really inconsistent, but it has some of Hov’s best deep cuts and hits. Alot of them.
all of his albums got 1-2 absolute classic songs but yeah he got a lot of filler on a lot of his s***
The Black Album is undeniably his best album, beats, bars, sequencing, everything is perfect
Posting Hov's own rankings for the sake of it:
Reasonable Doubt (Classic)
The Blueprint (Classic)
The Black Album (Classic)
Vol. 2 (Classic)
American Gangster (4 ½, cohesive)
Magna Carta (Fuckwit, Tom Ford, Oceans, Beach, On the Run, Grail)
Vol. 1 (Sunshine kills this album…fuck… Streets, Where I’m from, You Must Love Me…)
BP3 (Sorry critics, it’s good. Empire (Gave Frank a run for his money))
Dynasty (Intro alone…)
Vol. 3 (Pimp C verse alone… oh, So Ghetto)
BP2 (Too many songs. F***ing Guru and Hip Hop, ha)
Kingdom Come (First game back, don’t shoot me)"
@DMWR
4:44 or TBA for me hbu?
TBA or RD for me, Blueprint 3rd, then AG / 444 / Vol 1 in some order
TBA or RD for me, Blueprint 3rd, then AG / 444 / Vol 1 in some order
My order is similar but Vol. 1 is botton tier Hov
Probably a joke but Kingdom Come is underrated
Kingdom Come is the biggest teaser in his career because Prelude is so good and SMWYG was a good single. But the album falls off literally until Beach Chair

Hov sounded lazy on some tracks but I fw all the Just Blaze tracks at the beginning of the album, the Kanye track is alright too but the Dre tracks were another highlight to me. Except 30 something, that one was kinda wack.
