in a somewhat reverse preferred order (1st to 7th)
A song from a Ridge Racer video game soundtrack -> JPEGMAFIA - BALD!

A 70's Korean disco song -> Yves Tumor - Gospel For A New Century

A Japanese citypop song -> The Weeknd - Out of Time

A music anime OST -> death's dynamic shroud - Just to Be Needed

A lover's rock/reggae song -> Tyler the Creator - I THOUGHT YOU WANTED TO DANCE

idk what this sample is but it's f***ing MENACING -> Armand Hammer - Ni--ardly (Blocked Call)

A kpop song from 2010 -> nano神社 (✪㉨✪) - Van-sama summer holiday

Post yours! (WhoSampled is good for looking up sample sources btw)

it's such an impressive sample flip that the actual Japanese composer of the game OST gave his approval and praise to Peggy directly in the comments of that YT video and the BALD! music video

this is cool
the fact that I thought about including something from Kendrick and genuinely went "nah he didn't really sample anything off Mr. Morale" and somehow forgot about THP5 makes me want to delete this entire thread omfg excellent pick
seriously, the way the violin strings are emphasized in the Kendrick version still make me emotional
also I was thinking of including this Her Loss song but i legit don't know if the opening is a sample or not
