im skeptical of that, because, with this logic, you can say any mass movement/attack is somehow a fed op due to degrees of association with CIs, which exist in every "counter-cultural" movement to an extent, and every nation-state gives anti-gov radicals handjobs to destabilize their perceived rivals for their own internal interests, mainly on the basis of ideological similarities (this strategy was quite infamously used to wage proxy wars during the Cold War)

i don't buy this right-wing adoption of manufacturing consent rhetoric to absolve responsibility of their own sins, and this is the current narrative, "the spooks made me do it, im innocent"
