most importantly, the age old question of:
can he do it on a rainy Tuesday night in Stoke?will be answered. and that to me, is the last remaining unanswered question in the world.
City gonna draw Stoke in the League Cup and Pep's gonna rest Messi for Foden
sure you would. galacticos weren't that successful and mbappe/halland are not at the level of those guys
Mbappe set to be the next superstar and Haaland had like the 11th best goalscoring CL season ever iirc and this was his debut CL season
I don't know what the f*** we gonna do defensively, but
Mats
Semedo Pique Lenglet Alba
De Jong Pjanic
Bernado Silva Griezmann Dembele
Gabriel Jesus
would be hard.

Jesus and Silva won't come mate
Jesus and Silva won't come mate
I mean I highly doubt it, which is why I said 'would be hard' and not 'will be hard'
Worst part of Messi leaving is nobody has any confidence the board can bring in adequate replacements. Need elections ASAP.
Other than a desperate need for midfielders the squad isn’t so bad:
Coutinho - Griezman - Dembele
? - ?
De Jong
Alba - Lenglet - Pique - Semedo
Ter Stegen
Bored af so how would u guys rank every Messi season since he became the number 10 for Barca
1. 14/15 - His best overall complete season ever. Was great in just about every UCL KO March and La Liga MVP.
2. 10/11 - His best season in terms of big matches pedigree. Scored or assisted in just about every big match of the year. Madrid UCL and La Liga matches as well vs United in the final and scored in every KO round of UCL
3. 11/12 - I mean the stats speak for themselves. I’ve never seen messi more deadly up front than this season. Was a f***ing monster and unplayable at times it wasn’t fair at all.
4. 18/19 - Messi was basically carrying the offense this whole season in every competition. Goals and assists in Liga and UCL. Messi almost covered every crack until up til Anfield where the defense once again choked.
5. 12/13 - Messi was a monster in this la Liga campaign and probably his best la Liga campaign ever he would have broken the record for most goals if he didn’t get injured later in the season. This was the first season where u started to see Messi dictate the game more a la 14/15 which was evident in the AC Milan Home game
6. 09/10 - Messi killed any talk about if maybe he wasn’t the best player on the team (2009 Xavi and Eto shoutouts) First season where Messi looked unstoppable especially during the UCL knockout stages vs Stuttgart and arsenal.
7. 08/09 - Rawest Messi ever. Was a f***ing monster dribbling wise and had speed for days. Was influential in La Liga and UCL KO stages.
8. 17/18 - Messi and Barca looked dead when they lost to Madrid super cup. Messi killed that talked when he was carrying the team big time in the first half with most of the goals coming from him and have little to no squad depth at the time.
9. 16/17 - Messi was so so good in la liga this year. Scoring goals looking a bit like 09-13 Messi in terms of efficiency. Unfortunately this year messi had s***ty UCL KO performances aside from vs Juve away. Would be higher but he didn’t turn up in the KO stages
10. 15/16 - First season we saw a glimpse if Messi were to play mainly to assist and not prioritize scoring. Worked well at the beginning but it backfired in the later stages when Barca lost to Madrid and Atlético in a month.
11. 19/20 - Messi didn’t turn up much this season but not his fault entirely due to squad rotations and bad coaches. But he broke the assist record as well basically being mostly responsible for the offense.
12. 13/14 - Messi was off this year but even then he produced some magic vs Madrid away and was competitive to the end vs Atletico
Messi stays another year
“I wasn't happy and I wanted to leave. I have not been allowed to leave in any way, and I will STAY at the club so that I do not get into a legal dispute. The management of the club led by Bartomeu is a disaster"
"I told to the club, to the president in particular, that I wanted to leave. They know this since the start of the past season. I told them during all last 12 months. But I will stay here because I don't want to start a legal war".
"The truth is that there is no project at this club. They just plug holes as and when things happen. I would never go for a war against the club of my life. That's why I'm staying".
"Bartomeu told me that the only way to leave was to pay the €700M clause - that's impossible. But at the end of the season, the same Bartomeu said it was 'my decision'... he didn't kept his promise".
messi really didn't have a choice at the end of the day. he's leaving for free next season

A lot can happen in a season. Who knows how Koeman will work out as the coach, there's also the elections coming up... I wouldn't be surprised Messi ended up staying.

messi's relationship with koeman isn't good to start off lol. you're right though.
Laporta is running for president confirmed.

Stayed a year too long but a club legend
Koeman with a decent start
Suarez with an excellent start
Fits perfectly in Atleticos team, not really surprising is it?
