What JIK and Scorpion have in common is that they both are pretty s*** albums but they both had potential to be great/fantastic but Drake and Ye missed the mark.

JIK/Scorp average to slightly above average to me. Outside of a few skips on each of them.

JIK is the only Kanye solo I don't keep in my rotation. Even ye has a vibe I go back to. JIK sounds like s*** and the writing is lousy.

And I thought I would like it! Coachella Sunday Service made me think we could get something really great.

Scorpion problem was it could have had some songs cut.

i consider 4 has like couple good songs but mostly bad

if i said a 2 then i mean full on dogshit like revival or supermarket levels of bad

They both have extreme highs and lows. Drake made a project with so many tracks that he completely lost focus on what it was supposed to be. But there are amazing cuts on it. While JIK is so aggressively minimal that a lot of it doesn't feel fleshed out or fully developed. But the personal moments are quite memorable.

Hot take: More Life is one of the better Drake releases and the dancehall/trop house on that project is better than what we got from that style on Views. People overhate.

You need to cut down Scorpion to at least 15 tracks, the joints you like most

And with JIK, just watch the Sunday Service choir perform some of those hits LIVE on YouTube.

Both are definitely more than 4/10

It's not really a hot take to like More Life more then VIEWS.

I think they're both pretty good projects.
