Tuneoutim glad he beat it though because you cannot be prosecuting people with lofty ass cases and very, very few people deserve to have a literal life sentence in american prisons. thats not rehabilitation. its a deliberate cycle to keep people trapped for profit and modern day slavery.
in Canada it violates your charter of rights and freedoms and i stand by that charter and decision

oh yeah i get it. and i undertsand the other side of it, my cousin was murdered a few years ago in gang violence and it was extremely extremely sad. and I am happy that person who did it isnt on the streets anymore. but I do think the canadian prisons are still far too cruel and the case against him was rock solid, unlike durks.
so it was different. and we also have the 25 year mandatory appeal. the murderer has a chance to change who he is as a human being, so his familly are not victims to losing somebody, like my family was.
and i also blame our government and policy makers for that situation, as much as i blame the murderer.
these are complex things.

Yes, unless they have texts from durk or something which haven’t been revealed yet. The shooters who are snitching were talking to a BD (not OTF) about payment, and asking if durk sent the money.
To me it looks like a far easier case because they aren’t durks close homies

100% agree and im sorry to hear that. that is very tragic and sensless.
canada has really good branding and a very strong propaganda arm compared to most countries. people think its like a utopia or something (espcialy in europe for some reason)
but its still a country, with real people and issues. and its largest influence is the united states, which make us have similar issues to them.
including our absolutely evil and needlessly cruel prison system, whose main outcome (and i think purpose) is to endlessly trap people
