While I’m a big supporter of prison reform and rehabilitation and banning the box. I think it goes without saying that there should be an exception for sexual offenders, as they can’t be rehabilitated.

I get what u sayin, it’s just an awfully worded hill to die on.
Victims rarely get a chance to move on decades after their their assault. That’s a violation of their body they can never take back. There really should be some like transformative justice talks around rape/rape victims and perpetrators but I’m currently a bit disillusioned around that particular tactic (seeing RL proof of it failing in the past few years, alot of abusers really can’t be rehabilitated)
And yeah, redemption is a thing and all that good s*** in the ‘good book’ but we also still live in a society that downplays tf out of rape to begin with tbf. Not saying one could move…past it but that’s gonna always be a stain (and we talking specifically proven perpetrators) regardless if you 60.
Also ppl brought up the murder charge and the fact he had other kids that he wasn’t taking care of. Using those character references it’s not that hard to deduct homie may not be the most greatest guy in the world.
