I saw some tiktok jokingly saying that a girl wasn't planning to go to the gym but then remembered that her boyfriend's exes were thin giving her motivation to go. Is this the right move? .

Depends on how they gain weight.
If it's meds or something out of her control, then you shouldn't be pressed cause it will pass after the situation. If she is pregnant and keeps the baby weight you have no excuse. She sacrificed her body to have a child.
If they let themselves go and be a slob, and don't take in your help/advice to be fit then you're not in the wrong to leave (if you don't have kids). You literally aren't attracted to them anymore.
Also if they do fix themselves after you leave then you made the right choice. They never were going to be fit with you.
