Let's not act like Drake hasn't helped plenty of other successful artists from The Weeknd, Kendrick, Migos etc. hell PND would still be on bandcamp or whatever if Drake didn't reach out and do Over Here with him. Majid Jordan was stuck on SoundCloud now they've done some decent tours on their own. Not everyone is going to blow up like them but he helped people like Summer Walker, Dave, Yung Bleu carve out a lane so a Drake stimulus failing is on the artist not Drake

Naw it's just about picking the right moment. He could work with his friend for 100 songs if he wanted to. But when Drake wants to hop on your song, you don't kid around. As I said, I respect him for trying to put his friend on, but sometimes you gotta do you. Life comes down to a few moments.

Who the hell is debating on if Kendrick was great or not before his Drake stimulus? He obviously was just like a lot of artists that made it after he gave them a look. That just proves my point you need to use it to your advantage and play it smart. When Drake gives them his platform that's on them to make it not Drake to write them every hit or force people to fw them. I hardly listen to Drake I just been paying attention a long time since he got the Wayne stimulus
