A college degree is the bigger signifier of future wealth in western society and just behind home ownership, it's the second biggest signifier of political power. Our society basically functions as a two-tiered one, 1. college educated fellas 2. literally everybody else.

What this basically means is that in a decade or two, women will become disproportionally richer and politically powerful than men. Since women don't date men who aren't at their level or higher and most of them will be richer than most men, that means a lot of men will never have relationships w em. That will create a bunch of dudes alienated from society and that inevitably means violence.
