It’s just EA testing out a new strategy. They kill the value of all the gold cards so that people spend fifa points on promos because those cards become the only possible upgrades they can make. Also, since prices are constantly dropping, people are losing coins at all times. This also causes them to spend more on fifa points. It’s pretty genius

Whatever works for them, FIFA players typically aren't the sharpest tools in the shed. A slightly better team won't drastically increase your chances of winning yet people spend more and more on a game that gives back less each year, pretty wild
