Keep in mind this is his longest album in years so there are a handful of songs where his rapping is ass and a handful where he’s pretty good. JIK didn’t even have that much rapping

before that verzuz the only features on the album who are actually spitters were push and roddy rich (sorry lil yatchy fans/jay phoned verse in ) so i am super confident that’s the reason

i guess u can say the subject matter on some songs is a step up, but it's also super inconsistent

also his flow/voice on donda is worse than it's ever been imo. nah nah nah tier at times. the music itself is better quality than anything since TLOP
