Wassup guys, so i keep seeing people doing these film scavenger hunts on Letterboxd, and was wondering if anybody on here would be down to do this together?

If enough people are down, i'll post a challenge weekly itt. For example ''This week, watch a film with a color in the title'' and then you get to pick a film (that you preferably haven't watched, i mean that's the point of this) and watch it somewhere in that week. We can let each other know itt what we think of the films we watched after

I thought it was a cool way to find some new films. And i'm doing the challenge anyway so let me know if you want to be added to OP so i can @ you every week !

What are you thinking for the director one? The first movie that popped into my head is Lost Highway, which I’ve been meaning to see for forever but I don’t know if Lynch is necessarily one of my personal FAVORITE directors, just someone I like.

The beauty about this type of thing is that (hopefully) everybody will have vastly different choices for what they wanna watch to complete the weekly challenge, which means we'll get some films from other posters on our radar that we might have not ever heard of

Sure! Sounds fun. I’ll probably do Da 5 Bloods instead of Lost Highway for the director one (Wakanda Forever ✊🏽).

Mo’ Better Blues and Do the Right Thing are definitely two of my favorite movies, and Jungle Fever is my favorite Sam Jackson performance (“She’s Italian? Awww, you always did have to do things the hard way”).

Yea but this aint film club tho its not that we watch something together, we all have are own picks and can watch in our spare time. It just seemed fun to me to do a scavenger hunt at the same time with the fam on here and hear about what other people stumbled upon to watch!

Oh yeah for sure, i'm still waiting for some more people to join. But at the end of the day even if nobody is gonna do it. I'm def completing the scavenger hunt myself been wanting to do this for a while

Film club is hard for me to make since I’m back at college at a house but this is doable

For sure, and yeah i can't always make film club either. So this is just another extra way of getting to find some new films together with the ktt fam

I feel like we have enough people participating already to begin. I will post the first weekly challenge somewhere tomorrow, give others some time to still check in before we start

To anybody who reads this once were already a few challenges in, you can always still drop in!
