I don’t think it’s happening. To have a brand new entry release, as well as probably having post launch DLC for it (XV and 7R did, so it’s probably safe to assume), then to drop the Pixel Remasters on console (games 1-6) and THEN a sequel to a remake of the most beloved entry of the whole series would be maddening

Crisis Core Reunion was just two months ago, I think Square is gonna hold off on Remake Part 2 to focus on XVI’s release. It doesn’t make sense to stretch everything so thin like that. If anything, I’m saying 2024.
