man remake pt 1 is f***ing great so far. on chapter 9 and I’m loving the characterization. the OST is also god tier. ff7 is a top 5 OST for me and the remake is just as good if not better in some songs

I mean ofc they're saying this just to get as many players as possible, new ones included
They might throw in an exposition cutscene in the beginning of the game to get you up to speed if you haven't played Remake
But if you really want to experience the full thing, I def recommend anyone coming into this to play the Remake first
It's not even a long game, if you're not going for completion, you can beat it in like 30ish hours

It's a trilogy so play the first Remake.
