It would be incredibly worth your while to play the original.

Remake is going to be 10/10 game of the century but the original hits different. Will be two totally different feelings. Both amazing.0

there's a number of mods that improve the look & feel of the game, think the package is called 7th heaven (well one of em). bit of a hassle to set up though imo.

I promise promise promise you that the experience will make you not even notice/think about the graphics.

My girlfriend is a typical hot girl (not bragging but necessary for my point) and she just finished WATCHING me play the entire thing all the way through, and even SHE loved it, cried during it, and left super passionate about it.

Trust me. This ain’t no mario s***. There’s a reason why this remake is getting so much attention. Something like graphics are pale in comparison to what this game brings to the table emotionally and spiritually.

From someone who’s played through it 12 total times, I highly recommend a play through before you embark on the remake. It’s not necessary, but it’ll make the remake itself a much more rich experience.

I won’t have enough time before the Remake comes out. Maybe in the summer I’ll play the Og, don’t know if I’d get either the PS4, PS Vita or Switch versions though

Yeah I fell asleep after beating the boss

Changing characters is annoying asf too kinda interrupts the flow of the action
Probably just have to adjust to I'm sure

Where are y'all getting info that says it's not the whole game?

each installment, compared to the original, is just going to leave an unsatisfactory feeling because they know they have to wait like a year and a half and drop another $60 just for another fifth of the game
also they said each chapter is about an hour and some change, so even if there's like 15, that's maybe 20 hours worth of game time.
it's like when you wait for the second season of a show and by the time it comes you just don't care anymore
