After not giving it time when Zodiac Age released, I barely got far and don’t remember the story.
I’m about 6 hours in and truly enjoying it.
Characters are great, voice dialogue is probably some of my favourite (can see why FF16 is using old English as well) and the setting/world is really cool.
Gambit/License system was a little daunting at first, but it’s neat.
Glad I’ve finally given it a chance after watching someone stream it.
Now it makes much more sense why FF13 was hated
I wanna like FFXII, but the combat is a lil too passive for me. Also the lack of special combos (not spells or finishers) makes the combat too unintuitive. I do really like the gambit system though.
I’m enjoying it too but the eng voice acting sounds weird, like it was recorded with low quality mics or something and idk about the combat. So far i’ve just been spamming attack and cure
Played it back when it came out on thePS2, then I replayed it on the Switch a couple of years ago.
Still one of my favorite FFs ever, the characters and the story can be ehh, but the world is one of my favorite FF worlds ever.
4x speed is amazing btw, all jrpgs should have a 2x speed toggle at least
Is there 2X for PS4 version?
Don’t know if I’m doing the license board correctly, Vaan hasn’t learnt a new move since I begun the game

Yeah there is a 2x and 4x option in the menu, you can also turn it on and off with L1 iirc
Finally got my first Esper and second boards for all.
I f***ed it and accidentally made 2 of my characters White Mages and had no Black’s till the point. Luckily was okay most off the time

You can reset jobs at the main hunter guild guy
Honestly, Xenoblade and XIV made me appreciate XII much more
