I don’t get this take (a common one) cuz unless you re a total film nerd you wouldn’t even be watching it thru that lense and would just be watching it as a character study of a washed up actor and his friendship with his stuntman

I hated it on first watch but mainly cuz I was expecting a Charles Manson cult focused movie and didn’t get it

Well its the same writer as the prequel so I doubt it will be much better
