Ok Newspaper is the first song I fw fr fr. Like I said, the other s*** not bad but Newspaper is the first one that I could see myself listening 2 again. Maybe its bc it reminds me a lot of Yves Tumor’s Serpent Music

huge thing I'm noticing with people who don't vibe with the album is it being their first exposure to her music

ppl who have not been familiar with her music prior to this should really listen to "when the pawn" or "idler wheel" first ,before jumping into this tbh to get a better idea of her sound.

Shes one of the oldheads who will never fall off. A legend in the game and every time she drops its an event. To me shes completely unique, but if i force a comparison shes kinda like janis joplin mixed with nina simone.

Check her out if u like soul/Jazz inspired piano-centric music.

Yes so far this has musical merit. I won’t delete outta my library when I’m done w it. I fw what she goin for ig, can’t hate on good music.

That being said, I probably wont listen thru this a 2nd time once im done. I could see myself f***in w if im in the mood tho. Like if one of these tracks ends up in the middle of one of the lil alternative sections of Televised Radio (which it probably will), I could see myself f***in w it, same way I fw portishead n men i trust when they come up in that sxn...

Think imma drop a full review of this soon

Damn you should have listened to another album instead as your first Fiona album

When the pawn, tidal, or idler

I recommend when the pawn its a 10/10

or Tidal, more intimate and reserved side of her.

When Idler Wheel dropped it was too weird for a lot of KTT'ers too. But I remember some posters going back and liking her old s*** more.
