Mine was a GameCube
It felt like some little kid s*** I didn’t like it but animal crossing was GOAT
And of course super smash bros ...
Next I purchased was a PS4
In the beginning years there wasn’t much games besides remasters so it was kinda trash
First console I bought myself was a PSP
I had many consoles before that but they were gifts from my parents.
I had an older brother, so the Nintendo 64 was the first game system I played on. The first that I remember was the PS2 for Christmas in 2003.
Sega genesis I was a sonic fiend
I had a sega as a toddler
During those days you could hit up your local garage sale and find Genesis games for dirt cheap
with my own money? either a 2ds or my old PS4. I ended up selling both of them for at least twice what I paid though. not bad considering I was only like 15-16 at the time lol

So true I got a whole box of genesis games from a garage year like a decade ago
Oh first handheld I ever purchased was a 3DS
There wasn’t that much hype for it at the time so it felt like a big deal having it
You are all embarrassingly young.
SNES.
OG.
The sega I owned was probably my parents since they had me in HS
GameCube the first console I ever bought with my own money that I saved as a shorty. Had the Platinum one ironically is the only console I’ve ever had that’s broke on me. The lens reader somehow got scratched up. It would become unable to read the game disc after playing for about 20-30 minutes. NES, Sega Saturn, PSOne n N64 etc all still work
