Thoughts?

I liked it! Very thorny film but I thought it was well made and there was a lot to dissect. I think it’s too long though and there are some plot points that didn’t feel necessary.

Have you seen “the hunt”? If so does it have similarities to that?

Oh yea The Hunt and Anatomy of a Fall are some films I thought of while watching for sure

Watching this on 4 hours of sleep in the last 48 hours probably wasn’t the best idea. Def missed some dialogue trying to keep my eyes open. Ending felt very abrupt and anticlimactic. So we never find out where those bruises come from right? All we really find out is he spanks them but like who cares? And what was with that walking in water thing?

When can i see this at home

The son was a s*** actor too. Every one of his line readings sounded like an infomercial

I was surprised how many people were seeing this but that might just be cuz they only having one showing a day for a week

Was never bored but didn’t find it particularly engaging. Gorgeous shots throughout, really great performances. Mixed on what it was trying to say
