thoughts on caprisongs?

gonna relisten to it today but i really really like it. it's fun, carefree, perhaps more conventional from a production standpoint but still very much still twigs. what do you think?

I would put LP1 and MAGDALENE above it but it’s still an 8/10 for me

that's fair, i think she called it like a mixtape right? i see that. it's not a carefully crafted project like her others.

MAGDALENE relisten. Lord knows how I've tried with this one...

"thousand eyes" could be 3 minutes shorter. cold intro tho.

It's the opposite for "home with you" - that one could be another verse and 2 minutes longer. Always been a stunning track to me.

"sad day" is pretty. Great production and I like how the bridge's vocal sounds. Doesn't hit me as hard as it seems to for others as a whole tho.

"holy terrain" is a song by FKA twigs and Future

Lol. It's a lil vibe or whatever. But why.

Wait. I never really paid much attention to "mary magdalene" this is a good one. The lyrics, the subtle build-up. Kinda haunting but powerful.

Always liked "fallen alien" cool ass song. IIIIII FEEEEEEEL

Oh yeah "mirrored heart" and "daybed" is where I take a quick nap. The former being maybe the most emotional point, and the latter having an interesting lyrical structure. But they're just pretty flat for me.

"cellophane" is a phenomenal closer and record though. Big feels.

It is the better album out of the two. I'd never just pick up and play LP1 for kicks (pun intended).
